Dressed for the summer
According to meteorologists, summer extends for the whole months of June, July, and August in the northern hemisphere and the whole months of December, January, and February in the southern hemisphere. Summer is the warmest of the four temperate seasons, between spring and autumn. At the summer solstice, the days are longest and the nights are shortest, with day-length decreasing as the season progresses after the solstice. The date of the beginning of summer varies according to climate, culture, and tradition, but when it is summer in the southern hemisphere it is winter in the northern hemisphere, and – obviously – vice versa. I would like to live three months here and three months there, I would like to move around with the summer the whole year long traveling around the globe and breath the summer breeze at the seaside from Auckland to Antalya and from Sharm el-Sheikh to Honolulu.
Well, I can’t afford this luxury – yet -, but still, I can dream of.
Always ready, always dressed for the summer…
