Fluid forms, stripes and shadows by Alexander Bulanov

Tuesday, May 10, 2011

A shadow on the wall sliding slowly on a mystic rhythm and the curved lines with the stripes of lights are dancing retired in the quiet corner. The night comes down with each piece of the clothes thrown away. Smooth tension flows in warm waves and the pieces of the dream fits together in a black and white puzzle. A fading smile, a blinking eye, a naked shoulder or a screaming nipple are all moving pictures of the same shattered scene. And this is just the beginning of a beautiful evening. Don’t stop, the trembling voice said, everything it’s possible but nothing it’s real… Not what we actually see it’s more important but what we believe or dreamed to see.
The photographer capture what his eyes see through his camera. The reality is not quite real as it seams. And the use of a photography it’s not necessarily to immortalize an existing image, but to share a particular feeling, to communicate a vision or a thought. This is the true magic of the photography.
And Alexander Bulanov, photographer from Moscow, Russia, managed to transfer through his pictures his visions and feelings.
