Eroticism and elegance

Monday, July 11, 2011

Eroticism is a quality or the nature of somebody, eventually something if we’re talking about arts, literature, etc. Eroticism is the sexual excitement or the expression of desire. Eroticism is the use of sexually arousing or suggestive symbolism, settings, allusions, and situations.
Named after Eros, the Ancient Greek god of love, eroticism is a feeling, something sexually exciting, it’s a state of the spirit tightly linked to our body and sexual desires and needs. Eroticism is conceived as sensual or romantic love or the human sex drive – libido. And there are some things designed and made especially to make people feel “hot”, erotic.

Still, defining eroticism may be difficult since perceptions of what is erotic fluctuate.
Some associate elegance with simplicity of design. It is frequently used as a standard of tastefulness.
Elegance, just like aristocracy is not an inherited title, but “something” coming from the inside, and it’s nothing about dressing. Can be absolutely elegant being totally naked. And just like eroticism. Can be totally dressed up, but being absolutely erotic.
